What data is collected and why
A singular cookie will be placed on your browser, for the purpose of identifying your session. Under no circumstances will your data be sold or given to a third party. This session identification is used for identifying whether you are logged in, what account you are logged in to, and to detect abuse of the IndentationError APIs. This cookie is used exclusively to track your session while on IndentationError itself. Cross-site and marketing trackers are not used on IndentationError.
How your data is stored
All passwords are secured using the SHA-512 hash alogrithm with strong cryptographic salting. Data you submit to this website is stored, processed, and remains within the United Kingdom at all times. Data is always backed up, sometimes for up to three months. If you wish for your personal data to be removed from these backups please write to firstname.lastname@example.org. You must send a notification email and receive an authentication form before you delete your account through the website in order to have your data removed from backups promptly. If you have forgotten all login details, you may, under provisions of the GDPR submit a formal request for all personally identifiable information stored about you to be removed from the site. This must be done explicitly in writing or by electronic written communication.
As of the 28th of February 2021, IndentationError has not yet recieved a Subpoena, Warrant, Gag Order, or any other government order that would conflict with the privacy of users.
